AI Suggestions

Review, apply, dismiss, and manage saved AI suggestions from one place without changing campaign records by surprise.

What’s on this page

AI Suggestions is a grid of cards, one per saved suggestion. Each card summarizes the idea so you can decide what to do with it: keep it for later, apply it to your campaign, or delete it.

A filter panel on the side helps you narrow a large pile of suggestions:

  • Creation type - Show only suggestions for NPCs, locations, or items.
  • Theme Tags - Filter by the themes attached to a suggestion.
  • Archetype - Narrow to a particular archetype.
  • Date range - Focus on suggestions saved within a window.
  • Unused only - Hide suggestions you’ve already applied.

Long lists are paginated, so you can work through them in manageable chunks.

Working with suggestions

Select one or more cards to reveal bulk actions:

  • Apply - Use the selected suggestions in your campaign.
  • Delete - Remove suggestions you don’t want.
  • Export - Save the selected suggestions out to a file (JSON), handy for backup or moving ideas around.

Click a card to open its full detail when you want to read the whole suggestion before deciding.

Where suggestions come from

Suggestions are generated by Campaign Familiar’s AI as it considers your campaign - for example, relationships you might have missed, creations that have gone quiet, or unresolved threads. The ones you choose to save land here. Generating suggestions uses AI, so it requires an AI subscription; reviewing and managing what you’ve already saved does not.

Tips

  • Triage in batches. Use the filters to group similar suggestions, then apply or delete several at once.
  • Turn on “Unused only” to focus on what you haven’t acted on yet.
  • Export before a big clear-out if you want a record of ideas you’re about to delete.
